Why don't Indian (from Middle East) women care what their stomachs look like?

It has always seemed to me that Indian women don’t care what size their stomach is when they were their traditional attire which allows their stomach to be out. It’s totally different from American woman who seem to care a lot more. Any reason why? I think it’s a beautiful thing. Everyone should do it!
