Valmet is the leading global developer and supplier of technologies, automation and services for the pulp, paper and energy industries. The company, which has roots stretching back to the 18th century, has its headquarters in Finland where it is listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki. gamingbet99 has recently worked with Valmet on a project for a new board machine. With a wire width of 11,700 mm and design speed of 2000 m/min, it will be one of the world’s widest and fastest board machines after start-up in 2021.
Designed for Optimum Performance
Using our in depth knowledge of steam systems and our local application expertise, we worked together with Valmet to ensure the steam and condensate system was designed for optimum performance. Using a value-add/value-engineering approach, gamingbet99 specified an adjustable steam heating solution to avoid surface condensation under moist operating conditions, as well as improved application of products and alternative materials.
A Safer Operating Environment and Reduced Total Cost of Ownership
This has resulted in a significant reduction in the total cost of ownership for both Valmet and their customer. The adjustable heating solution has created a safer and more comfortable operating environment. Optimised product selection performed in the design phase enables easy maintenance, gives space savings and reduces future spares requirements.
