Do you think the basic attire would remain the same after 100 years?
Like the trousers and shirts. There may be variations of it. The fashions may come and go in cyclic fashion. Also some local dresses like saree and punjabi dress in India or those worn by tribals may continue to be there. But what do you think about the fabric and they type of dress which would in vogue after 100 years from now ?

Interesting question!!
The synthetic or chemical stuff may certainly change with improved substitutes, but the bio-products (wool, cotton, silk etc.) appear to be ever useful… who knows, some new agri-product could replace cotton in future (genetic engineering can perhaps produce a different product that may either get in-vogue or be proved even more suitable than cotton).
I have always wondered why a well designed single-piece dress doesn’t replace the current trend of two-piece dresses, especially when we are trying all the time to compress time in all aspects of our life.

The Cotton fabric & Silk will remain for ever as they are time tested for millenniums.

Yes, I think most clothing is timeless, with the exception of the thong. Who would have thought that would actually be clothing. Jeans don’t ever go out of style, most clothes are timeless, just the colors and fabrics and the length of skirts seem to change.
