english woman indian wedding?
okay im going to an indian wedding over 3 days in mid september. and have no idea what to wear so as not to stand out like a sore thumb. there are certain rules for wedding day attire, chest and shoulders covered and nothing too short. also head has to be covered. needs to be bright and sparkly... any ideas where to look that isn't overly pricey. im in the uk.

I don’t think there are any restrictions on indian weddings, you certainly don’t need to cover your head apart from the brides like any other religions because indians don’t in general. About bright and sparkly, the choice is yours, if you have blond sparkly hair already, you probably won’t go for the sparkly looks. You can still wear reasonable short dresses or skirts, the same length any respectable English women would be wearing.

hi i’m from the indian culture and no the head does not necissarly have to be covered unless u are the bride. Red will be showcased throughout the wedding so wearing red is a good idea. you can wear reasonable lenght skirts and not too low cut tops. wearing some jewerly is a good idea but don’t be overly sparkly
