How old are most Indian women when they begin to wear saris?
We found a suitcase that had a couple of saris in them (:D) which made me wonder...at what age do most women start to wear them? I know you wear them at weddings and such..but at those sort of things I always wore a salwar kameez. so yea... thanks in advance

children wear them, but only as a photo opp
no ofcourse children don’t wear saris (like for everyday wear, or even for special occasions). it’s very very rare, and usualy meant to be a joke ( “look how cute baby is!”)
it’s usually 16ish
