Husband complains about the way of wearing saree?
Hi! I am Sadia, a 32 years old married lady. My husband and I had a long affair of 7 years before our wedding, which took place 2 years ago. When I was unmarried, I wore sexy (not slutty) outfits like sleeveless kamij/fotua/tops with a bit low neck etc. My husband (the then boyfriend) never complained about this. Rather he was always encouraging by saying "You are looking so sexy!" type stuffs. After our wedding, I started to wear saree. I like to wear the saree of light fabrics (transparent or semi transparent) like georgette, chiffon, net etc. and about 4 inches below my navel revealing my waist curve (note that I have a beautiful waist shape and a deep and long navel). Sometimes I wear sleeveless/transparent sleeve blouse also with low neck lines. Now, my husband starts complaining and telling me to wear sarees like he wants me to wear, i.e. covering my navel and not wearing sleeveless etc. At first he said that my parents-in-law complaned to him about my dress up, but it was a lie as I then talked to them about the issue and they assured me that they were perfectly okay with my dress up. Moreover, they told that they were really proud of their beautiful daughter-in-law (lucky me!). But my husband still keeps on insisting me to change my dress ups. Now, this is really disgusting for me as I feel comfortable wearing saree attractively/sexily wherever applicable. What should I do now?

You can wear such types of clothes but you should also wear bra.

Before he didn’t care because it was like a way to lure him, but now that he has you he feels he should be the only one seeing you which is true. I know a female want to feel attractive, I’m a female. Agree to cover the navel and that’s it. Sex appeal is what we women aspire to have until the day we die. You can be sexy and not reveal his unmentionables

I think it’s okay, (kind of) but I see where he is coming from your married now and your showing your figure off, do you were your saree in public? If so you might want to adjust it a bit to not show your stomach so much (you know cover up a bit) I go to parties and see people with saree’s on it’s not to revealing, but it is revealing…
