Indian Ladies — De sis! When it gets SO hot, how do you keep cool?

This is a serious question, so please answer seriously. Thanks. I am interested to know how Indian women stay cool when the temperatures are so hot. Do you wear the long skirts and .... what? Tank tops like we would in the US? Or??? I mean, sometimes a kurti is too hot! And all the fabric in both a salwar khameez and a sari wrapped around when it's so hot -- ack. Help. Yes, I realize they've managed and survived for centuries, and I am wondering what perhaps Indian women are wearing now. THANK YOU!

Kurti, protects from the sun, it’s like the shade from the sun.

Women stay remain cool when the temperatures are so hot as all of their dresses are developed according to the climate conditions. Women here select cotton, silk or polyester fabric according to their reach and ease. The most common attire is saree or salwar kameez.
Even in very hot days women will never be in only skimpy panty with or without bra. For hot temperatures women may avoid any under garment. Even some don’t wear blouse only saree with a string band and tie it below navel low on their hips where they feel comfortable and keep cover their body with pallu to allow fresh air to their body. If wearing salwar kameez women may avoid under garments and they may select cotton voile thin fabric and wear salwar below navel on their hips to allow fresh air to their body.
