Is it ok for me to wear a sari to my prom?
I can't wear a "dress" because I'm a Muslim but I want to wear a sari I just bought do you think that would be ok? I'm Indian by the way.
AND do you think wearing a sari would attract guys attention, coz well, for me its not a good thing lol but yeah I was just wondering if it would and if guys would find it appealing and I don't wanna go looking like an outcast or anything lol

I think that’s a beautiful sari! It’s definitely a far cry from all those cookie-cutter prom dresses, but I think that’s a good thing.
Wear that, and you’ll probably be a hit at your prom! Everyone will be talking about how beautiful your sari is!

I think this would be more than fine…
It would show you are proud of who you
are and that you are confident. Those two concepts
alone will make guys look at you twice…I don’t necessarily
think it would be bad attention that they give you…

Well being honest i dont know that wil attract all guys attention bcos its not as tight fitting or revealing as i dress may be but it is who you are!!!u will definitely get noticed bcos youll look different to all the other girls too!
so play up on it, do the dramatic makeup that looks so stunning on indian girls and be happy embracing who u are!

Wear what YOU want to wear! Personally the sari is beautiful. Guys are definately going to be attracted though b/c the garment itself is attractive and quite exotic.
