Make-up help…. plz answer as soon as possible…very urgent!?
Hi. I am doing wedding make up for an indian bride for the very first time.The wedding is next week and i need to practice the look today. She will be wearing a sari (indian dress) which is ALL white but has a maroon border. Does anyone have ANY ideas about what kind of eyeshadow combo would look good with this? And also a lipstick colour that will look good. ALL suggestions are welcome.

purples are usually really good for indian weddings. You can try to look for pictures of indian make up and try to reproduce the look. I also see a lot of dark lips for indian make up weddings.

i would go with a lighter color on the inside.. then a darker color around it.. im indian and i do this alot.. and heavy make up around the eyes.. but lips can b nude color or if you like then a brown..

I think you should try to match her lip colour with the maroon border. A deep plum or magenta maybe?
Its quite hard to tell without a pic, im not sure of her skin tone or colouring (some are more yellow then red)
But I like the concept of the eyes here…without the green.

You could try looking up Aishwarya Rai, the indian actress who represented Loreal. She always has makeup which suits her, and always has something new, nude lips, plum lips, etc.
