Mission Kashmir-Traditional Kashmiri Dress?

I am somewhat knowledgeable about the traditional female Kashmiri costume and the some of the variations it has. I am interested in the Muslim version of the traditional costume, specifically the headress called kasaba. I really became interested after I saw Mission Kashmir and saw Preity Zinta wearing it in several sequences. I think it is soooo beautiful, but I have yet to find anyplace on the internet that sells any part of it or find any hints or patterns of it, which is strange considering it's surprisingly easy to find saris, salwars, etc.
Here are some visual examples:

I would appreciate ANY feedback at all!

Its called the pheran. It is usually worn in Winters but can be worn year long without the inner lining. It typically has a lot of embroidery done at the neck and the arms. Both men and women wear pherans but there is some difference.

For men pheran looks like a clock. It has no embroidery. Women embroider theirs in gold and silver colour strands. Thats called tilla. But this usually popular among the older ladies. Girls go with embroidered patterns in thread or wool. Thats called Aarhaai (or Aari) work….

I dont think you will find it anywhere on the Net. Also it cant be worn in other parts of India, they are just too warm for it.

Your links are not working, so I presume the question.

Hi Lizzy I am from India ya those coustumes are extremely famous. What my suggestion would be is that do U know any Indian stores round ur place they mostly will have stiching centres also take these photos along with U & they will stich the exact way U want it.. Dont try the internet cos this requires ur spl measurements, a little wrong & the dress will look totally ugly.. Trust me.. And wish U all the best for ur venture I love preity in Mission Kashmir…
