ok..i have a georgette sari and i need to kno how i can pin it in place without ripping the fabric. ive asked my friends but didnt get any luck. soo, how do i pin my sari and keep it from falling off!!??

The Sari is the the most beautiful famine garment. I wish I had the answer for you, but my friend that was a missionary in India is gone, she often had a demonstration, when the daughter, she adopted while she was in India, would come to visit, and bring her the most exquisite Saris all silk and gold prints, as far as I remember they were just wrapped. Perhaps if you posted this question under the Countries and choose India you may get an answer :as how does one wrap the Sari without damaging the fabric

you can use that fashion tape or paper clips i know it sounds ridiculous but it can be worth a try…..i was just taking into consideration the fabric you dont want to damage ; )

fashion tape might work, unless it’s really a silky material. I find it doesn’t hold as well in that instance. Also, there are magnet clasps you can buy that work well if the material isn’t too thick for the magnets to attract. Good luck, hope you find a solution that works for you!

i use georgette sarees all the time… i use a safety pin to put it in place… see that you use a small one though.. bigger ones leave holes.. it should not tear unless someone pulls your saree… dont use plastic or tape.. it looks odd and it wont stick to fabric too… try to buy some small safety pins…
