What do I wear to a baby shower?
I am invited to a baby shower and this is my very first one.
It is at 12 0'clock and at crown plaza hotel.
The thing is I am an Indian and I am not very comfortable wearing dresses and all....I was just wondering if I could wear my own sari or like a dressy pant with a top?
The people hosting the baby shower are my husband's friends and they are Americans ( No pun intended ..I am just trying to descriptive :)...
I am in a huge confusion...what do I do?
I know that it is supposed to be casual and everything but It is in Crown plaza...Does that change the attire? It doesn't say what to wear on the invitation.

I think it would be perfectly fine for you to wear your sari. Pants are probably acceptable, too. I don’t know how fancy the hotel is, I’d say slacks if it’s very ritzy, and khakis would be fine if it’s average.

Wear what ever you like.Wear your sari or a dressy pants with a top or even a t-shirt with jeans.It’s not a formal occasion so to speak.

I would wear what i would be comfortable in i wear pants to church i don’t think you should wear something you don’t want to so just wear what you see fit and if they don’t like it that is to bad but i am sure they would be ok with it

Don’t wear jeans and a t-shirt!
Wear a pair of dressy pants and a top. You’ll look dressed up without being too formal.
