What should I wear to a Hindu Temple?
I have to go to a Hindu Temple this weekend for a project, and I'm not really too sure what I should wear. They are celebrating a main holiday I think and lots of people will be there and I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally don't want to be disrespectful because I am in awe of their religion. I have two saris, but they are both bright colors and very fancy, like bollywood type party dresses. one is orange and one is pink. could I possibly wear one of those? they just aren't every modest, the blouses are a bit show-offy and the petty coat is just well.. normal.. plz help!!!

Both saris would be fine and since your going during Diwali week I think you ideally need bright clothes as Diwali is a time of great celebration, of light conquering darkness and good conquering evil.
I personally would recommend the Orange Sari as Orange (or Saffron really) is the colour of sacrifice, religious abstinence, quest for light and salvation.
