What to wear to an indian wedding?

My Hindu friend invited me to her cousins traditional indian wedding.
We're only 14 and she's going to be wearing the traditional outfit and I was going to wear a colourful dress that wasn't very revealing but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to wear the traditional Sari too
I'm not indian so I'd borrow some of her outfits but I'm not sure if a colourful dress would be fine?
Link me some pictures of examples of things to wear if you can please
Thanks!

wear your friends Sari…BUT know that you may feel weird looking like everyone else but if u dont have a problem with not looking like everyone else PLEASE wear your first choice, ALWAYS follow your instinct!! thats the best advice i can give you. good luck!!

Wear a brightly colored party dress that is NOT strapless or revealing. The front should not be low cut and the shoulders should be covered.

And if you have access to jewelery, wear gold jewelry.

BRIGHT AND COLORFUL dress with a vest that has sleeves would be GORGEOUS!

    Gold jewelry and NO black!

=) You could also always purchase a Sari, your friend would be tickled and think you’re such a sweetheart!

you can ever search for Indian wedding dress on yahoo/bing to see pictures and dress accordingly. Long upto toes skirt and not reveling or too tight top and matching scarf will be good outfit.
