What types of Indian attire can an American girl with a low budget and less than a week's time pull off?





I've regretfully started my search for clothing a bit late, so now I am struggling to come up with a look for a school event.

I do own an India-looking scarf of about 1 yard wide and 3 yards long though...is there anything I can do with it? Maybe there are some more casual styles that it can be incorporated into?

    get some multicoloured bangles, colourful gold rings, if you have a top/dress with lots of embroidery on it wear that, with any sort of skinny jeans, if you have any gladiator sandals wear them, wrap the indian looking scarf around your neck, do two french braids in your hair and do heavy eye makeup, your sorted - an american+indian mixed look,
