Will you rate these outfits?
My sister and I have been talking a lot about out Junior and Senior proms. We're a little young to be thinking about something so far away, but we do. That's the way we are. Anyways, I'm an orthodox Indian girl and I decided I wanted to wear a salwar Kameez to prom. If you don't know what they are, that really doesn't matter. They're just a little more conservative. I think I'll be more comfortable in one instead of a prom dress. So will you rate them 1-6. Tell me what you think of them. Give any suggestions. Thank You!!

Just to start off, some of the other answers that people have said are really inconsiderate. I’m sorry that people can be mean.
I’m not going to give ratings, I’m just going to give my opinion, if that helps. In the end you should be the one who decides, not based on a rating.
anyways:
A) I like it, I think the gold accents w/ the jade color work nicely. The designs are cool too.
B) That one is pretty, and the color also works for a prom too, because I can guarantee that there are prom dresses that color also.
C) This one I think is beautiful: The designs are elaborate and gorgeous, I love the off-magenta color and the copper color contrasts well with it. However (this may be just me), I’m not a big fan of where the copper top part of the dress cuts off unto the magenta bottom.
D) This one I think is very pretty if you’re trying to go for a more formal-dress look. Once again, i love the colors. And if you are trying to incorporate your orthodox Indian side w/ a high school prom dress, this one works. The sparkle-type designs on the bottom really helps
E) This one is pretty: HOWEVER, when I look at it, it just seems a bit too much, like there’s too much going on at once. There’s a lot of different colors going on, a handful of different designs, and extra dangly-things coming off of it. It looks a tad Renaissance, also. But if it’s what you want to wear, than wear it.
F) This one is different from all the others. First off, almost all of it is black (obviously) and there are less accents on it than on the other dresses. I wouldn’t recommend this one though: the black and the dusty-jade with the off-gold doesn’t work (in my opinion). The high neck and long black sleeves are a bit too much. Overall, this dress is pretty, but I don’t think you should wear it, in this situation. It would work though in any other situation, like a really formal or important event.
So I think my favorite would have to be D. But the dress you choose should be entirely based on your own opinion and not what other people rate it as.

D doesn’t show a picture of any dress or anything but -
A) 4. I’m not a big fan of the color.
B) 5. This is my favorite and I like the color, too!
C) 3. The bodice seems a little off.
E) 2.
F) 1. It’s a little too dark for my taste.
I would say B is the best, but always keep looking!

its really cute and still somewhat conservative. you can get one with straps if you like but thats a traditional prom dress

Why are you going to ruin the amazing expireience of prom by wearing these hideous things!?!?
Buy a nomal prom dress, and you’ll look gorgeous, buy these and you’ll look hideous and out of place :/

I’d first of all like to apologize for the way some people are treating your conservative tastes. I love C & D. I think it comes down to a real color choice, do you want something that really POPS or something that looks a little more dark and chic? I think either one is a great choice. Don’t sway away from looking for a dress though. There are some hideous prom dresses being advertised these days so google around and find a quinceanera dress, they sometimes come with matching cardigans that are very cute too.

P.S.: They are all really pretty, even though is not exactly ‘prom’ material.. but it’s your culture, so its your choice. Just have a great time at prom with a great guy. Remember, whatever happens, happens.

Any one from A to F. Diferent dreasses look well at appropriate occassion and depends on your body figure. My suggesstion is any bottom to wear enough below your navel so you can be comfortable. When ever possible avoid under garments to allow fresh to your body for better health.
