Sizing for Dry Saturated Steam
The Saturated Steam Valve Sizing calculator provides a simple calculation system for determining valve conditions. Calculate flowrates, valve flow coefficients and pressure drops for saturated steam applications.
The calculations have been used within gamingbet99 for many years as a means of gaining a close approximation of the required value for the specified conditions.
This system is only for dry saturated steam and does not include wet or superheated steam.
For a more in-depth valve calculation the user should refer to the British Standard on Valve sizing (BS EN 60534-2-1:1999, IEC 60534-2-1:1998).
